Exam
Questions
Are the questions exactly those what are
on the test?
Our questions are similar and some may be identical
to what is on the test. The textbook follows ASI guidelines (the testing
company), and covers every topic on the test. If you answer the questions
provided in your textbook and do the practice exams located at the back of the
book, you will be well prepared to answer the questions.
Are more practice exams and questions
available?
Yes. We carry an optional book that has hundreds of
questions and answers. Also, we have a CD Rom disk available that has an exam
modeled after the real one. It has hundreds of questions; it will score your
test, show your weak areas, and keep track of your progress. Be aware that many
students have passed the exam without these options.
Do you help with the actual test?
Our priority is for you to pass the test. We
provide questions, study tips, and advice aimed to that end. We also provide
you with a step by step procedure on submitting your application, where to take
the test, what days it is given, fees involved, and what to do when it is over.
You will not be left not knowing.
Frankly, I'm worried about taking the
test. What if I fail?
First, realize you are not alone. Some of our
students don't pass the first time. Sometimes nerves get the best of us.
We will stay with you until you pass. As of this moment every one of our
graduates who decided to take the test has passed!
Second, realize that test taking is no indication
of your success in real estate. Many of our industry's "top
producers" needed to take the test 3 and 4 times before passing. These
same people are now making over one hundred thousand dollars a year! We'll get
you through the test, and point the way to your success. The rest is up to you.

Will parking be a problem?
Not at all. The private parking lot provides all
the space you will ever need.
Is the building safe?
The public is not allowed to enter after hours. Our
parking lot has floodlights. To promote safety, the instructor can walk
students to their car after class.
Are bathrooms and snacks available?
Bathrooms are directly across the hall from the
classroom. We have fresh coffee and cold spring water available. Feel free to
bring any other snacks you desire.
How large is the classroom?
Our classroom can hold 50 students in comfort. The
overhead screen is visible from every seat in the classroom.
Is your facility handicap accessible?
Yes. We have both a stairway and an elevator. Our
class and bathroom doors can accommodate a wheelchair.

Is there more than one instructor?
There is one primary instructor-Paul R. Bynum. Read about Paul's qualifications elsewhere on
our site. Occasionally, we have other instructors and guest lecturers from real
estate related fields.
Has Paul actually sold and been
successful in real estate?
You bet. We only want people training you who have been
in the trenches and know from first-hand real experience. Paul has been a top
agent for many years and thoroughly understands the real estate business. Just
as important, He is a superb teacher with a gift to inspire his students for
achieving their own success.
How do other graduates feel about the
training they got through
Good question! We want to know also. So, we have
each student fill out an evaluation form at the end of their training. It is
kept anonymous. We don't know any particular student's response. The composite
result can be viewed at "Student Feedback".
Paul, what is your personal take on
achieving success in the real estate business?
O.K, here it goes... It is a service business. Put
aside your own needs, and think of your client. Go out of your way to help. Get
involved in your community. Commit to excellence and stay with it until you
achieve it.
Never accept a second best effort. Stay interested
in your client and forget about what you think. Be quick to forgive and slow to
anger. Plan your goals and carry through on your plan. Don't be afraid to take
risks. Expose yourself-you can't hide from people and make any money. Know your
market. Expect change. Respect your time and energies.
Be willing to discover and accept what your clients
really think about you and your service and then, change to improve their
perceptions. Know that the real estate business can be a spiritual arena for
personal growth. Accept challenges. Probe for understanding. Learn to applaud
others and offer support-but when your moment comes, shine! Give thanks.
Dream big. Love life unconditionally. And Laugh a lot...

Is there homework?
Yes. Reviewing the material gone over in class is
expected. The beginning of each session is spent answering questions on the
homework assignments.
How is the course taught?
The school has an overhead PC projector, and
utilized the latest in computer technology to assist your training. We go
through the book, chapter by chapter, allowing you to take notes, and ask
questions. Student interaction is encouraged. We also strive to make it fun!
What if I am interested in commercial
real estate or investment properties?
Our basic course covers an overview of these
subjects. You will need a real estate license no matter what specialty field
you elect to go into. To specialize in either of these subjects requires more
training, but the rewards can be great. We recommend starting with residential
real estate. Once you learn the ropes, move on to whatever interests you.
Will I be learning something besides
basic real estate?
Yes. You also will be trained in Arkansas Real
Estate Law. The law portion of the exam is comprised of thirty questions. The
school spends about 15 hours going over this topic.
I'm worried about actually starting my
career after I pass the test. Does your school help me get started?
Absolutely! Our goal is not just to have you pass
the test, but to see you succeed. Paul gives each class a full "getting
started" topic that explains how to set up your business, how to get clients,
how to prospect, what to say to a buyer or seller, etc. His advice can save you
years of grief and struggle.

Do you help with job placement?
The school provides a checklist of questions a
beginning agent should ask when interviewing with an office. The advantages of
different types of offices are discussed. Ultimately the choice of where to
work is left up to the student. Every graduate of Faucette School of Real
Estate who got their license and chose to work in the field is now employed
with a real estate company. Our students are in demand.
Do you promote any particular office?
No. We realize that each student has his or her
individual needs and concerns. Different offices have different
"feels" about them. The leadership, training, and atmosphere are
different in every office. It is to your advantage to interview several offices
before making a decision on where to work. We offer advice and counseling on
good questions to ask; Questions that as a new agent, you may not think about.

Questions
About Real Estate
How is the real estate market in
This is an ideal time to get into real estate. The
job market is demanding good, professional agents. Our region is among the most
popular spots to live. Our local economy is robust and thriving. Three major
corporations, (Tyson, Wal-Mart, and JB Hunt), virtually assure our strength,
even in bad times. The outlook is ideal for at least another ten years.
Is there any data or charts I can look
at that would support your view?
You bet! Check out our “Northwest
How does real estate compare with other
professions as to income potential, job satisfaction, etc?
Real estate is for independent people, who like to serve
the community. It is both a sales and a service business. The top income is
unlimited. How hard do you want to work? A beginning agent makes somewhere
around $15,000 a year. Once you are established, the sky is the limit. Many
agents make well over one hundred thousand dollars a year. Some make far more
than that.
Besides the money, being an agent offers many
perks. You set your own hours. You market your own properties. You can be as
creative. You meet many friends and colleagues. You learn about your community
and grow to be a professional. And if you approach it with the attitude of
"Service", you can actually enjoy getting up in the morning. Can your
present job say the same?
